Spring Creek was started in 2003 as a means of adding value to the cattle we’ve been breeding and raising for many years. Through Spring Creek, we are able to offer a line of premium beef products that are raised without antibiotics or added hormones to create an exceptional eating experience.
 
 

Kirstin Kotelko is the fourth generation of the Kotelko family. Today, her dad Bern and Uncle Mike run the ranch (Highland Feeders) and partner in Growing Power, Canada’s first integrated BioRefinery that produces Green Power and BioFertilizer.

Like you, we have a keen interest in knowing the food we eat is made with care for quality, safety, traceability and the environment. That’s why we’ve developed rigorous protocols for Spring Creek Ranch Premium Beef including:

  • Outstanding Angus genetics (Spring Creek Cattle are a custom Angus/mixed breed)
  • Fed a wholesome diet of forages and rolled barley
  • No added hormones, additives, antibiotics, or steroids – ever
  • Compassionate animal care
  • Accountability and traceability right back to our ranch

We work with a team of personally selected ranchers to exclusively raise Spring Creek Beef.  Our ranchers register each animal with the Canadian Cattlemen Identification Association and commit to a voluntary third party audit process that monitors every step of their animal care.

Our Canadian beef is processed and packaged in federally inspected, HACCP approved facilities for uncompromised food safety and product integrity.  Our personal guarantee of premium quality and safety is stamped on every package.
